Freebeegas.com update - BUSTED by the Florida Attorney General - Ponzi Scheme

Someone just posted a response to my original article on FreeBeeGas.com. In it they said that Attorney General of Florida Charlie Crist has filed suit against the parent company, Tidewater Marketing Glonal Consultants, and the president of the company.

It also said that local NBC station, KSHB-TV 41, in Kansas City, MO, took the lead in busting this wide open. I checked the stations website and saw that the date of the article was January of 2009. Ummm. OK.

I am calling this a Ponzi scheme because of how it is appearing to work...

  1. It was not associated with any of the oil companies
  2. Everyone pays a fee to get their gas. As more people  submit their gas receipts the money is then used to pay off the people who joined in first.
  3. It started falling apart when, aside from my previous article, people started submitting receipts faster than new people were signing up.

I wish to thank all of you who read my article (over 5,000), and those who were brave enough to post their experience that others may benefit.
